ST JAMES CITY

St James City  A truly unique community and fishing village on the southern most tip of Pine Island, the largest island in Florida. PINE ISLAND

 Pine Island  is located in Lee County, on the Gulf of Mexico coast of southwest Florida, it is also the largest island in Florida and 118th largest island in the United States. The Intracoastal Waterway passes between Pine Island and Sanibel Island just a few miles to the west. 

Only 30 minutes from Fort Myers but a world apart. Not a single stop light on the entire island!

MATLACHA (mat-lah-shea)

 Matlacha is one of five communities on Pine Island, although technically, it is located on a smaller island in Matlacha Pass, east of Pine Island. It is an "Old Florida" fishing village, home to many brightly colored art galleries, island boutiques, seafood restaurants, and traditional Floridian cottages. VIDEO

BOKEELIA (boh-keel-yah)

 Bokeelia is a small hamlet located at the northern end of Pine Island . The name means  "little mouth". Palm plantations and tropical fruit orchards thrive in this area. VIDEO
