Welcome to The Coconut Cabana Vacation Rental

"Villa Key West" is not in Key West, it is the name of the Key West style house on this waterfront spot in St James City, Florida. The Coconut Cabana is a separate guesthouse adjacent to the large saltwater pool and only a few feet from San Carlos Bay. You share the entire property only with your hosts/owners Liz and Parker whom reside in the main house.

The Cabana is limited to 2 overnight guests.

Privacy and solitude is very rare when it comes to Florida's waterfront homes, yet this unique property with 380 feet of shoreline and tropical landscaping offers just that. The sweeping views of The Intracoastal Waterway and Sanibel Island with it's blinking lighthouse across San Carlos Bay, make you realize you have stepped onto a lush tropical paradise away from the city and beach crowds. The scenery is ever changing as pleasure boats, luxury yachts, maritime travelers and shrimping/fishing vessels pass close by. Watch Manatee, Dolphin and many species of birds sharing the coastal water just feet away as you relax poolside.

Swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, shelling are at your backdoor. Ft Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Cayo Costa State Park and Boca Grande are only a short boat or ferry ride away. The Coconut Cabana has one of the largest, private pools on all of Pine Island.

St James City is a Golf Cart community. Often available with your stay as a courtesy is the "Lectric Lizzy golf cart to explore the area (Cart availability not guaranteed).
Two Kayaks are available to paddle the back waters and mangrove shores around St James City (lifejackets must be worn).
Use our bicycles and challenge the 13.7 mile paved Pine Island Bike Trail from St James City to Bokeelia. Bring lots of water and don't forget...once you get there, you have to get back! More trail info here
Fish the fertile waters of San Carlos Bay...no boat needed, you have your own 150' private fishing pier! Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Sheepshead, Trout and other species scour the shoreline. Fishing rods and tackle provided.
