Welcome to The Coconut Cabana Vacation Rental
"Villa Key West" is not actually in Key West, it is the name of the Key West style house on this property in St James City, Florida. The Coconut Cabana is a separate guesthouse, adjacent to the pool and only a few feet from the waters edge of San Carlos Bay. You share the entire property only with your hosts/owners Liz and Parker whom reside in the main house.
The Cabana is limited to 2 overnight guests.
Privacy and solitude is rare when it comes to Florida's waterfront homes, yet this unique property with 380 feet of shoreline and tropical landscaping offers just that. The sweeping views of The Intracoastal Waterway and Sanibel Island with it's blinking lighthouse across San Carlos Bay, make you truly feel you have stepped onto a lush tropical paradise far from the city. The scenery is ever changing as pleasure boats, luxury yachts, maritime travelers and commercial fishing vessels pass close by. Watch Manatee, Dolphin and many species of birds sharing the coastal water just feet away as you relax poolside.

The main house we call "Villa Key West" though it is not actually in Key West, which just over 100 miles to the south, but it has the style, the feel, the flora and the charm of a home in Key West with much more space and privacy! The Coconut Cabana is a separate unit adjacent to the main house.

Swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, shelling are at your backdoor. Ft Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Cayo Costa State Park and Boca Grande are only a short boat or ferry ride away. VKW has one of the largest, private pools on all of Pine Island.

When you stay at the Coconut Cabana, you will not be sharing the common grounds with any other renters, only with your host and hostess Parker and Liz, this is truly like having a resort to yourself! The Cabana is a separate very private structure, surrounded by the tropical grounds and flora of "Villa Key West". The views from The Cabana of Sanibel Island and San Carlos Bay are some of the best on Pine Island or most anywhere in SWFL.

We are Liz and Parker, owners of The Coconut Cabana at Villa Key West. As retired business owners from Virginia, growing up, Parker spent many years on the Chesapeake Bay and Liz spent Summers in Cape Cod. We fell in love with this property on this island in 2019.
